Senior Superlatives is a tradition in almost every yearbook across all of the United States. These awards are voted on by the seniors as a way to showcase the different personalities and characteristics that they possess. This tradition allows students to reflect on their high school experience and to look back at their yearbooks and find themselves on what they were awarded.
On this year’s yearbook, the Senior Superlative categories were: Most Likely to Succeed, Most School Spirited, Dynamic Duo, Best Dressed, Best Hair, Most Creative, Best Athlete, Best Smile, Friendliest Senior, Most Likely to Make you Laugh, and Best Friend Group. For each of these titles there was a male and female winner. The process to select a winner starts with nominations. Anyone is allowed to nominate a senior. The three seniors with the most nominations in each category are then put to a vote. Each senior may vote once and then the winners are announced. Many schools get creative with their categories and they are all different in their own ways
