Grant’s Girls Volleyball Varsity team ended the Fall 2025 season with 11 wins and one loss, putting them in 1st place for the East Valley Region. Despite a loss against Arleta, Girls Volleyball went on to win against North Hollywood High School, where Maliyah Winston went down with an ankle injury.

Winston, a 12th grader, would return later in the season starting as a libero and ending in her original position as outside hitter. With several senior players on the team, Girls Volleyball closed the game with an 11-1 score and an overall record of 25-6.

The team then entered qualifying rounds for Championship State Finals, where Grant won in a 3-0 match against the El Camino Wildcats.

In the second round, Girls Volleyball faced Nipomo Titans in an away game several hours upstate. Grant lost two sets and seemed to be making a comeback by winning the third round, but ultimately lost to the Titans in the fourth set despite their best efforts.
